With two decades of experience, and a long family tradition in the homebuilding industry, Matthew Tippell decided the time was ripe to set up his own firm, Maximilian Development Company, LLC.

Matthew started his career in 1987 as an intern with the international development firm Tayloy Woodrow Homes, working in their southern California office. His internship included working in several departments in order to gain a comprehensive knowledge of the business, as well as in-house training at Roxburgh, a leading advertising and public relations agency specializing in the homebuilding industry.

In 1990 he transferred to Taylor Woodrow's commercial property division in London, England, where he worked on the acquisition and redevelopment of commercial office buildings and high-end condominiums in the City and West End.
